From the Yoga Garden, to Yoga Pretzels, and adventures with a yoga pirate... The Barefoot Storyteller enjoys sharing yoga with children.

Classes based upon The Yoga Garden™ Game are filled with wonder and exploration. Songs, rhythm games, and some of the classical yoga poses that are based on animals and objects found in the natural world are all part of this class. $75 for a one hour session, groups of five to twelve children. Class groups are generally divided into sessions for 18 months - 3 year olds with their parents, classes for 3 & 4 year olds, 5 & 6 year olds, and 7 & 8 year olds.  The enjoyment of  playing The Yoga Garden™ Game itself is another option, $40 for a one hour session, groups of five to twelve children.

Yoga Pretzels classes are based upon the "My Daddy is a Pretzel" book, and the Yoga Pretzel Cards.* $75 for a one hour session, groups of five to twelve children. Class groups are generally divided into classes for 3 to 5 year olds, and 6 to 8 year olds. You could also choose just a reading of the book, My Daddy is a Pretzel, which involves doing just a bit of yoga and includes an abbreviated take home sheet for a $25 addition to my regular storytelling fee. *both the book and the cards are available for sale through myself or my Barefoot Books link

GAYO workshops can be presented as either an in-school program (five two-hour or ten one-hour sessions, either schedule being $250), a one week "camp" (five three-hour sessions with healthy snacks included, also $250),  or as an abbreviated eight hour day "light intensive" for $200.  Workshop  age groups are  6-8 and 9-11, and I would invite older class groups as well. GAYO  is a Yoga story in Mind, Body and Spirit, offering a pioneering concept of reading, exploring and learning life skills at the same time. Children are lead into the principles of Yoga with fun and are asked to take an active part in GAYO's story. The concept of Yoga and its philosophy are explored with Yoga Postures, Yoga Play Poses and Yogic Thinking exercises.  GAYO is a Trademark of Carola Lachmann
